Working against a July 22nd show deadline, local illustrator Neil Talbott highlights his pen and ink portrait of “Colorado Woman”with light watercolor washes.

The final version, artfully framed by Cristine Colvin of Frameworks, Cottonwood Center for the Arts’ own in house framer, is being hung at this month’s show in the Herbertson Gallery for “Hats, Boots & Chaps”.

More of Neil’s commissions and portraits can be seen in his studio,#105, at Cottonwood’s Last Friday Open House on July 29th from 5pm to 8pm. The show, full of some of Colorado Springs finest artists’ homage to the 71st Pikes Peak Rodeo season will hang through August 17th.

Neil can also be contacted by email at nmctal@msn.com or at (719) 532-0499.
